Effective 12 September 2026 · Applies to the Addonaut app for iOS (bundle com.addonaut.app)
Addonaut's catalog is an index of skins made by other people. Items from CurseForge are shown from CurseForge's own API: the author's name and a link to the author's project page appear on every item, and an item is downloadable inside the app only where the author has allowed third-party distribution on CurseForge; otherwise the app sends you to the author's page. Items from our own catalog at mcmodshub.com are shown the same way, with author and source. Skins previewed by player nickname are fetched from Mojang's public profile service and belong to the player; the app shows them for preview only and does not let you export or share them.
Nothing you draw in the app is uploaded anywhere. The app has no feature for publishing content, so there is no user-uploaded material in it.
You do not need a lawyer or a formal notice. Either:
We remove or hide the item from the catalog, and delete any copy stored on our own servers, normally within a few business days. For items that come from CurseForge, hiding them in Addonaut does not affect the author's CurseForge page — that is under the author's control there.
To send a formal notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act or an equivalent law, write to support@mcmodshub.com, addressed to the publisher, Alona Lashkul, and include:
On a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material and delete any copy we host. We notify the person who supplied the material where we can identify them.
If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake, and your name, address and phone number with consent to the jurisdiction of your local court. Unless the complainant tells us within 10–14 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material.
We remove content and, where the catalog is concerned, stop indexing sources that are repeatedly the subject of valid notices. Knowingly false notices may carry liability under section 512(f) of the DMCA and similar provisions elsewhere.
