These terms are an agreement between you and Alona Lashkul (“we”, “us”), the publisher of Addonaut. By installing or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
Addonaut is distributed through the App Store under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. That agreement governs your licence to the app; these terms add to it and, where they conflict, Apple's terms take precedence for the licence itself. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Addonaut.
Addonaut is a tool for drawing pixel-art character skins, dressing them from a wardrobe of clothing pieces, generating them from a text description on the device, and exporting the result as an image or a .mcpack file. It also shows a catalog of skins published by other people. The app does not install anything into any other application: exporting hands the file to iOS's standard share sheet, and what happens next is up to you and the app you choose there.
Skins and packs you draw or assemble in Addonaut are yours. We claim no rights in them and never receive a copy: they live on your device. The templates, clothing pieces and generated results the app provides are licensed to you for making your own skins; you may use them in skins you export and share, but you may not repackage the template library itself as a product.
Do not use Addonaut to make or distribute content that is unlawful, that infringes someone's rights, or that is intended to harass. Do not interfere with the app's online services, probe them, or use them at a volume that a person using the app could not produce. The on-device generator refuses certain descriptions; do not try to work around that.
The catalog and the report inbox are online services we may change, suspend or withdraw at any time. The app's core — drawing, wardrobe, on-device generation and export — works without them. We do not promise that any particular catalog item stays available, since most items are hosted by third parties.
Addonaut is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it is error-free or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data on your device — please keep your own backups of skins you care about. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms; the effective date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are noted in the App Store release notes. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend the online services for a device that abuses them.
Addonaut is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft. “Minecraft” is a trademark of Mojang AB; it is mentioned on this page only to identify the game that reads the files the app exports. CurseForge is a trademark of Overwolf Ltd.
