MC Mods Hub

Copyright & Takedown Policy

Last updated: July 2026

MCModsHub (mcmodshub.com) is a search and discovery catalog for Minecraft mods, add-ons, maps, textures and skins. We aggregate content created by third-party authors from sources such as CurseForge, Modrinth and other public repositories. We do not create or own this content — it belongs to the individual authors, under their own licenses and the terms of the source platforms. We respect intellectual property rights and act quickly on valid removal requests.

How we handle content

Either way, if you are the rights holder and want your work removed, we will act.

For mod authors — the easy way

If you are the author of a mod and want it removed from our catalog, you do not need a formal legal notice. Email [email protected] from an address we can reasonably tie to you, tell us which item(s) to remove (a link to the page on our site is enough), and we will take it down and delete any mirrored copy.

Formal DMCA notice

To submit a formal notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, send a written notice to our designated agent at [email protected] (or [email protected]), publisher Artem Lashkul, including all of the following:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the material on our site, with the exact URL(s) on mcmodshub.com so we can locate it.
  3. Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number and email.
  4. A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

Upon a complete notice (or an author's removal request) we promptly remove or disable access to the identified material and delete our mirrored copy, if one exists.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to [email protected] with your signature, identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that it was removed by mistake, and your name, address and phone number with consent to jurisdiction. We may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the complainant notifies us they have filed a court action.

Repeat infringers

We remove content and restrict access, in appropriate circumstances, for parties who repeatedly submit or are the subject of valid infringement notices. Knowingly false claims may carry liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
