Welcome to KME (Katek Movement Expansion)

KME is a lightweight, physics-based movement overhaul designed to provide fluid, dynamic mobility in Minecraft. This project is a direct recreation and expansion of the discontinued mod "Hexxed's Movement Expansion." The original creator, Hexxed, has officially granted permission for this continuation and actively serves as a contributor to the project.

Whether you are exploring expansive cave systems, scaling mountainous terrain, or navigating intense combat scenarios, KME provides the necessary tools to control your movement with precision.

Core Features

Directional Dash

By pressing C (default, can be configured in controls), players are launched in the precise direction they are looking, including along the Y-axis.

• Leaves behind a dynamic particle trail that tracks player momentum and automatically dissipates upon contact with the ground.
• Plays a subtle sound effect to provide auditory feedback for the dash.
• Unrestricted Movement: There are no artificial ability cooldowns. Players may dash as frequently as desired, provided they manage their momentum effectively.

Double Jump

By pressing SPACE while mid-air, players can execute a secondary jump.

• Preserves the current X and Z momentum while applying a secondary boost along the Y-axis.
• Spawns a localized burst of particles at the exact coordinates the jump was triggered.
• Fluid Mechanics: Cooldowns have been removed to allow for seamless, continuous parkour movements.

Cloudstep Enchantment

A custom enchantment designed exclusively for Boots.

• Completely neutralizes all fall damage from any height, enabling silent, damage-free landings.
• Extremely Rare: Classified as a treasure enchantment, making it rarer than Mending and unobtainable via a standard Enchanting Table.
• Vanilla Balance: Strictly incompatible with Feather Falling to maintain standard game balance.
