⚡ Difficulty Overhaul

Difficulty Overhaul is a lightweight yet brutal server-side gameplay modification for the Fabric loader designed to transform Minecraft into a true survival challenge. By completely restructuring hostile mob behavior, progression scaling, and core mechanics, this mod eliminates passive gameplay and safe strategies.

It is purposefully designed to be unforgiving, dynamic, and unfair, offering an evolving hardcore challenge for veteran players looking to test their absolute limits.

⭐ Why Download Difficulty Overhaul?

Vanilla Minecraft often loses its survival challenge once you obtain basic iron or diamond gear. Difficulty Overhaul solves this by making the world dynamically adapt to your presence. Because it is 100% server-side, you can install it on a dedicated server to instantly upgrade the gameplay experience for your entire community without forcing players to download any custom clients or resource packs.

Key Features

🛠️ Installation & Requirements

To use this mod, you need to install the Fabric Loader.

⚠️ Important Server Note: Since the mod scales its difficulty based on the total world playtime, it is highly recommended to turn off your server when no one is actively playing. This prevents the timer from ticking up in an empty world and making the game impossibly hard before players even log back in!
