Joke of the Day

Which build do you need?

This mod ships a separate file for every mod loader and every version of the game. Pick both, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game.

Mod loader

Minecraft version

⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · Data pack⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · Fabric⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · Forge⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · NeoForge⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · Quilt
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

Joke of the Day is a simple but fun(ny) datapack that tells you a random joke every Minecraft day!

Whenever the day counter resets (day time 0), a random joke is sent in chat. Some are terrible, some are cheesy, and some are completely random, but hopefully at least a few of them will make you smile. :)

Most of the jokes were suggested by the community, so if you have a joke you'd like to see in the pack, feel free to suggest it here on Planet Minecraft! (If your joke is added it may take some time for the pack to be updated since there will need to be at least a few new jokes in each update)

Joke preview: Every machine in the coin factory broke down all of a sudden without explanation. It just doesn't make any cents.

Plus, this pack is fully multiplayer-compatible so feel free to install it on your server!

I hope you enjoy the pack and that it makes your Minecraft world just a little bit funnier!
