Ice Boats
Ice Boats makes boats glide across water with ice-like slipperiness and adds a small speedometer while riding a boat.
In vanilla Minecraft, boats lose speed quickly while moving through water. This mod changes the boat water-friction behavior so water feels much closer to boating on ice: smoother, faster, and more momentum-based.

Installation
Install this mod on both the client and the server.
Minecraft 26.1.2 treats player-controlled boats as client-authoritative, so the client needs the physics change too. A server-only install will not reliably change how player-controlled boats move.
