GM Commands adds hidden gamemode shortcut commands to the server:
- /gmsp - switches the player to Spectator mode
- /gmcr - switches the player to Creative mode
- /gmsv - switches the player to Survival mode
- /gmav - switches the player to Adventure mode
These commands are not registered as normal Minecraft commands, so they do not show up in tab-complete and can be made to look like “Unknown command” when used. The mod detects the command text before vanilla rejects it, sends a fake unknown-command message, then changes the player’s gamemode.
