About

Adds 20 New Items, composed of tools, equipment, amulets, and consumables that enhance playstyles, reward world exploration, and expand purpose of existing vanilla resources.

• Playstyles: New forms of movement, building, and combat aid expand playstyles in a variety of ways. Crowd control mobs with Bombs - Pull in out of reach items with a Magnet - Perform a charge jump with Rabbit Boots to aid in building... or initiating a Mace attack. Items are easy to understand, but versatile. Each item maintains vanilla progression and are balanced to not be overpowered or overshadow other vanilla items.

• Vanilla Resources: Existing resources lacking incentive have been expanded through these items additions. For example, Amethyst Shards are made more useful now through the crafting and usage of them with new items like Spectral Bottle, Sculk Radar, and Fairy in a Bottle. The Heart of the Sea can be alternatively used for the Amulet of the Sea movement item. Beetroot can be crafted into regenerating Golden Beetroot.

• Exploration: Items can be common or found in unique situations. Find commmon items like Bombs, Golden Beetroot, and Spectral Bottles across most overworld loot chests, but also find specific unique loot like the Stealth Hood in igloos and the Necrotic Amulet in bastions. 4 new mobs are also added to provide slots for new item obtainment in unique scenarios, such as from Glow Slimes in deep caves, Phantom Riders during thunderstorms, or Fairies from flower forests.

Unbound Items can be found not only in vanilla chests, but in the following compatible mods/datapacks' structure loot!

Unbound maintains compatibility without overriding original loot tables through randomized function loot table injection for both vanilla & modded loot. Original loot & seed remains untouched - unbound items are simply injected randomly into newly opened container loot chests.
