Beacon Overhaul Continued
An unofficial fork of Beacon Overhaul updated to 1.21.4 ( and newer), introducing a tier system and new effects like long reach and nutrition.
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
This is a modified fork of BeaconOverhaul by ChloeDawn, originally licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Updates have been made to support newer Minecraft versions (specifically 1.21.10) and fix bugs.
Beacon Overhaul Continued
A mod for Minecraft that introduces a tier system and better effect scaling for beacons
- Adds night vision, fire resistance, nutrition, long reach, and slow falling as beacon effects
- Adds a tier system for beacons, with diamond and netherite structures providing progressively increased effect potency
- Adds a higher potency of night vision, allowing the player to see everything with midday lighting (full bright) and no fog effects
- Adds 2 new effects to the game, Long Reach, increasing interaction reach, and Nutrition, passively restoring food levels
- Adds a dropping mechanic to slow falling, allowing sneaking to cause a fall at normal velocity whilst still negating damage
- Adds an increased step height to jump boost, allowing the player to step up blocks instantaneously when the effect is applied
- Note: Auto-jump takes precedence, and will need to be disabled for this to have any effect
