Never Leave Your Base. Capture the loot fragments of every chest in the world, craft them into ghostchests, and roll the dice right at your base. Bring the dungeon to you.

For every structure in existence a fragment and its ghost chest are created, even for every mod in your modpack. How do I use it?

Explore a structure, open a chest. With a configurable chance (25% by default) the chest drops a Loot Table Fragment tagged with that exact loot table.
Combine 9 partial fragments of the same source into a Basic Ghostchest.
Upgrade Basic → Superior (4×) → Perfect (4×). Higher tiers raise the rare-item odds.
Insert any Ghostchest into a Loot Explorer, feed it RF energy and Coal Pearls. After a roll cycle the explorer dispenses the loot, item by item.
Automate: pipe in energy, pipe out the goods, set up a Dripstone Extractor to manufacture the Coal Pearl fuel passively.

A two-block-tall machine that converts Ghostchests + RF + Coal Pearls into real chest loot. Active explorers float a 3D hologram of the structure. Dripstone Extractor

A two-block-tall passive Coal Pearl factory. Load it with Coal Pearl Dripstone, water, and energy and it generates Coal Pearls automatically.

Coal Pearl Dripstone

A new ore that replaces 10% of vanilla pointed dripstones during world generation. Mine it directly for one Coal Pearl, smelt it for another, or load it into the Dripstone Extractor for passive yield.

Configuration

The first launch creates config/nlyb_looting_and_exploration.yml with sane defaults. Every value is editable + documented inline:
