End Crystal Melee
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
Description
Allows you to use the End Crystal's explosion as a melee attack, dealing around 10 hearts of damage. Functions like a sword, but:
- Same cooldown as a mace, and does not allow an attack if not fully charged, meaning aim is necessary (you have to draw it back enough to make it explode, also makes it balanced)
- Deals explosion damage instead of regular damage, meaning it is affected by blast protection
- Made only stackable to one to allow explosion sound and removing one item on use
- Still placeable on obsidian, don't use it to break the crystal because of its cooldown + the other crystal won't explode if hit because crystals delete nearby crystals when they explode
