With essential mod, you can host your own minecraft world, just like on bedrock edition. And there is built in voice chat so you can chat with your friends.

This server has vehicles like planes and cars.

There are a lot of signs you can use, like stop signs, yield signs and a whole bunch of others.
More Concrete
The more concrete mod allows for concrete slabs. So now you can make easy slopes with road markings.
