FAQ

Can I play this with friends?

You have two options:

1. Quick join: Use "Open to LAN", then send the IP address that gets printed out in the chat to your friends to connect to. This method uses e4mc.
2. Dedicated server: Download the server zip, place it in an empty folder, extract it, then run one of the start scripts. This will download all the required files and start the server. To update the server to a newer modpack version, open modpack-info.json and change version_id to the latest version, then simply run the start script again. This method uses mrpack4server.

Is there a wiki or in-game guide?

There's neither a guide or a wiki. The features list on this page contains everything you need to know before starting the game. Some mods have their own advancement tabs which act as progression guidance of sorts (Farmer's Delight, Simple Smithing Overhaul). The vanilla tutorial is replaced with a tutorial that will walk you through the first steps of the new early game. The "Story" advancement tree has been modified to match the new early game.
