Notice: I lost motivation to maintain this modpack. I might continue it at some point but for now I would recommend Fabulously Optimized instead as it does the same thing but better.

A simple, performant optifine replacement modpack designed with performance and compatibility in mind.

Missing animated, connected, and custom item textures.

What does it do?

Serotonin attempts to replace as many optifine features as possible while having better performance than vanilla or with optifine. It also tries to add small features that could be useful without being overpowered or cheaty, much like optifine used to.

Why should I download it?

Serotonin is aimed to be familiar to optifine and vanilla players in a way that few other modpacks are, and is preconfigured to nearly replicate optifine's default settings. It also improves performance more than optifine and on par with other modpacks that do similar things.*

Overall, its your choice whether you use serotonin or not, because there are a lot of other good modpacks that do the same. I hope you can try it though, because I put a lot of effort into it!
