MUNI SMP

MUNI SMP is a lightweight Fabric modpack created for MUNI SMP (crazy I know), a Minecraft survival multiplayer server for students of Masaryk University.

The modpack keeps the experience close to vanilla Minecraft while adding proximity voice chat, navigation tools, performance optimizations, and several visual and quality-of-life improvements.

The modpack is intended for use with the (un)official MUNI SMP server. Most included mods are client-side and do not significantly change vanilla gameplay.

Joining the MUNI SMP server

MUNI SMP is a private community server intended for Masaryk University students. Installing the modpack does not automatically grant access to the Minecraft server.

To apply for access:

1. Install and launch the modpack.
2. Join the MUNI SMP Discord server: https://discord.gg/YgrnPnQwSj
3. Complete the student verification process.
4. Connect using the server entry included in the modpack.

Players who have not completed verification and received approval will not be able to join the Minecraft server.

Voice chat

The server uses Simple Voice Chat for proximity-based communication. On your first launch, open the voice chat settings and configure your microphone, speakers, activation mode, audio levels, and preferred push-to-talk key.
