Scout Perform is a performance-focused version of Scout Client, designed to improve FPS, reduce loading times, and optimise overall gameplay responsiveness. It trades some compatibility for stronger performance tuning and a more streamlined mod set.

Shaders

Shaders are supported in Scout Perform.

To enable shaders, go to:
Options > Video Settings > Beryl > Shaders

Shader packs are NOT supported though.

Benchmarking

Scout Perform has been tested on a new world and achieves 100+ FPS under default settings.

Test system:

• NVIDIA RTX 3050
• Ryzen 5 5500
• 32GB DDR4 RAM

Results may vary depending on settings, world type, and hardware.

Compatibility Note

Scout Perform prioritises performance over broad compatibility. Adding extra mods may cause instability. It is recommended to keep backups before making changes.

About Scout

Scout Client has two versions: Scout Client and Scout Perform. Scout Perform focuses more heavily on performance improvements, while Scout Client is designed to balance performance and quality-of-life features.
