inspired by the modpack Fabulously Optimised.
LegacyOptimised
it says it on the tin :3
this pack is designed for laptops with early 2010s era processors and integrated graphics. it's designed to noticeably improve performance, as vanilla can (and often) runs poorly, even with the settings turned down.
Iris wasn't included but you may download it if you wish. this is typically because usually most hardware as old as these can't run lightweight shaders well, if at all.
Disclaimer
keep in mind you may need to change the settings to work best with your own hardware. however my own hardware (below) is an example of how it should ideally run.
Hardware example
vanilla Java Edition on 1.21.10 typically ran below 30 FPS, even below 20 FPS in many cases for my hardware. however it ran noticeably smoother with the modpack. as such, this has been tested on a HP Elitebook 820 G1 with an Intel Core i7-4600U and Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics, running Debian with LXDE. it ran between ~70 and ~100 fps in a singleplayer survival world in 1280x720 fullscreen for this setup.
