What's New? (Changelog)

We have completely overhauled the internal code to make animations smoother and prepare for upcoming features like diving and custom idles.

• Total Movement Rework: Added new Falling and Climbing animations.

• Low HP System: Complete rework for Low HP situations, including specific animations for sneaking and crawling while injured.

• Smooth Physics: Added body leaning based on movement direction and improved interpolation for seamless transitions between states.

• New Sneaking & Crawling: Much more natural movement while sneaking or crawling, both idle and moving.

• W.I.P Animations: Early versions of Jumping Idle, Hoprunning, Eating, Drinking, and Throwing are now included.

• Bug Fixes: A massive clean-up of the codebase to improve stability.

Requirements & Compatibility

To get the best experience, please pay attention to the required mods and recommended packs.

Required Mods:

• Entity Model Features (EMF): Essential for the animations to function.

• Entity Texture Features (ETF): Required so EMF can properly load your player skin.

Recommended Resource Packs and Mods

• Punchy!: We are working directly with Punchy! to bring a full first-person animation rework to Silly Moves. (Mod, Hold My Items can be used instead)

• Pato's 3D Brews: Our drinking animations were specifically designed to match the items in this pack.

• Fresh Foods: Eating animations are tailored to fit the food items from this pack.

• Refined Tools: Combat animations are being built based on this pack (Stay tuned!).

Known Incompatibilities

• Lithium: For unknown reasons, Lithium currently disables NBT data required for the pack to function correctly. We recommend checking for alternatives if you experience issues.

Versions

Silly Moves (Main): Supports Minecraft 1.21.2 to 1.21.8.

Silly Moves (Backported): Supports Minecraft 1.20.1 to 1.21.1. (There is no 0.5 Backport for now)
