Better Cats!
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
Better Cat Types!
Remodeled cats to better match their breeds, with tons of new features like random eye colors and tail lengths
Breeds:
- Black: Solid Colour
- British Shorthair: Scottish Fold mixes
- Jellie: Exotic Shorthair
- Tuxedo: Bi-Colour
- White: Sphinx
Randomized Traits:
- Hair Length: Short, Fluffy, and none
- Tail Length: Normal and Bobtail
- Whiskers: Short, Medium, and Long
- Snout: Normal and Short nose
Eye Shapes and colors:
- Eye Shapes: Narrow, Round, and Almond
- Colors: Green, Yellow, Orange, Brown, Blue, Teal, Gray, and Heterochromia mixes
Tutorial
Due to OptiFine having inconsistent updates and features, its recommended to use mods: EMF & ETF instead
If using OptiFine, make sure to enable these settings for complete features:
Video Settings -> Quality -> Custom Entity Models: ON
Random Entities -> ON
Emissive Textures -> ON
In order to prevent texture issues, Better Cats! should be at the TOP of your Resource Pack list.
