Overview

The Stepford Express Class 800 is a fictional variant of Hitachi’s AT300 high-speed bi-mode train, reimagined for the Stepford County Railway (SCR) universe. Based on the real-life British Rail Class 800, this version combines the modern engineering of the Intercity Express Programme with the sleek branding of Stepford’s premium intercity operator — Stepford Express.

Designed for long-distance services across the Stepford network, the Class 800 in Stepford Express livery delivers high performance, passenger comfort, and distinctive styling. Maintaining the same dual-mode capability, it can operate seamlessly across both electrified and non-electrified lines, making it ideal for flexible express operations.

Each 5-car set measures approximately 129.7 m in length, with an aluminium body and a maximum speed of 125 mph (200 km/h). The livery features Stepford Express’s signature navy blue, white, and gold color scheme, representing speed, elegance, and reliability.

Stepford Express Class 800 in Minecraft (MTR Mod)

This resource pack brings the Stepford Express Class 800 into Minecraft using the Minecraft Transit Railway (MTR) mod. The original model was made by cw_315 for Transport Fever 2 and ported to Minecraft by Vitor2005 in 2025. Fully compatible with MTR4, it allows players to simulate Stepford County Railway-inspired express operations in their Minecraft worlds.
