This resource pack does 2 main things; it extends the range of the Brightness slider from Moody to Fullbright, AND it boosts areas of absolute darkness relative to the current Brightness setting for more consistent lighting. Now you can pick the exact brightness that's best for you! And it works in Vanilla with no mods! (Also works with Sodium, haven't tested with anything else.)
The reason I've made this pack ALSO boost areas of darkness instead of just being a simple extended brightness slider pack is because I wanted a Vanilla resource pack I could use to record videos, and when you JUST boost the brightness, there's still a major difference in brightness between the surface at midnight and a dark cave. Below is a comparison of what it looks like with and without a darkness boost. If you want a similar pack that doesn't have this darkness boost, you can try Boosted Brightness by Bluebird.
