Reverts the spawn egg textures introduced in Minecraft snapshot 25w08a back to their OG designs and adds new textures for new mob eggs.

I don't know my version or loader

Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.

No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

This resource pack gives the new mob spawn eggs a classic-style appearance, inspired by the textures from earlier versions of Minecraft. It also adds old textures of the spawn eggs for mobs from before the change.

🤔 How to install

For Modrinth web users:

Click "Versions".
Click the download button next to version you want.
After you download Reversed_Spawn_Eggs.zip go to %appdata%
Copy .zip to /roaming/.minecraft/resourcepacks

For Modrinth app users:

Click "Versions".
Click the download button next to version you want.

📖 Compatibility

Optifine is NOT required (as well as EMF and ETF)

Version warnings can be safely ignored if you’re on a supported version - with each update that changes baby mobs - come back for a newer version. 🙃
