Overview

The Thomas the Tank Engine Resource Pack is a fun April Fools’ release for Minecraft Transit Railway (MTR), bringing one of the most iconic fictional locomotives ever created into the world of Minecraft.

Originally introduced in The Railway Series by Reverend Wilbert Awdry, and later made world-famous through Thomas & Friends, Thomas is a small blue tank engine based on the LB&SCR E2 class. He has become one of the most recognizable railway characters in popular culture.

This version adds Thomas into Minecraft Transit Railway, adapted as a joke release for April 1st while still being fully usable in-game.

The 3D model used for this pack was sourced from Sketchfab, where it was published under a Creative Commons Attribution license by Sea Land Air. The model was then edited and adapted by me for MTR, including reworked colors and texture adjustments to better match Thomas’ CGI-era appearance.
