About Rigel's Ultimate Specular

This resource pack is designed to add specular reflections and material properties to the Ashen 16x resource pack. It does not contain any original or modified Ashen assets.

Rigel's Ultimate Specular is in very early development, and only has support for every copper block and item so far. Updates will be slow, but high-quality!

This pack is being designed and tested using Merlin1809's Eclipse Shader.

Credits & Authorship

• Base Textures: This texture pack only adds normal and specular textures, not original pixel art. The base textures this pack is built off of were created by the incredibly talented Aim_Boot, author of the Ashen 16x resource pack.
• PBR Maps: The maps in this pack were entirely hand-painted and configured by me. They are built directly on top of Aim_Boot's original textures to faithfully preserve Ashen's intended aesthetic.

Dependencies

To actually see the reflections in-game, you must install the following:

• Ashen 16x
• A shader loader and a shader with LabPBR support.
• Better Block Entities (BBE): Without this mod (and Indium), Minecraft will fail to properly add the specular and normal textures to block entities like chests or signs.

Installation

1. Download this pack and Ashen 16x
2. In your resource pack screen, place Rigel's Ultimate Specular above Ashen 16x
3. Load your shader with LabPBR and specular reflections enabled!
