Scrofae - Better Piglins

Which Minecraft do you have?

Every version of the game needs its own build. Pick yours, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game. This mod is built for Resource pack only.

I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

Updates all piglin related textures to a more naturalistic texture. Piglins will now have biome dependent texture based on the evolutionary pressure of the specific biome. Roughly ten variants per biome ensure a more realistic horde. Piglins now also have their own more savage swords, axes, and spears made out of bone and gold.

The Nether Waste

The Nether Waste piglins are the standard piglins without optifine. They are opportunistic scavangers of the barren wastes, and are more often seen with clothing and gold than the other tribes.

The Crimson Forest

The Crimson Forest's lush red mycelium carpet is home to numerous piglin tribes in constant conflict. The adults tattoo themselves to scare off enemies, and the babies are covered in pigments from the forest floor to camouflage them from intruders.

The Warped Forest

The Warped Forest contains the lepers of piglin society. Slowly corrupted by the warped spores in the air; their skin has faded to an ashen grey, and fatigue underlines their crazed eyes.

The Soulsand Valley

The Soulsand Valley's harse conditions has forced the recluses and exiles who live there to adapt in order to survive. Naturally camouflaged; their skin covered by the cursed dust swept by the howling wind through the caverous gulch. They mimic the skeletons who hunt them with bodypaint in their image to truly glide into the scenery.

Since neither warped forests nor soulsand valleys allow piglins to spawn, these will primarily be encountered in bastions in said biomes.
