Are you also sick of the massive texture you get when holding the Copper Golem in your hand? This helps a bit with that, but it primarily make it feel a lot more comfortable for me, at least.
Please note that any held golems can not display their poses with this iteration, simply due to the 8 variations already needing 16 files to explain to Minecraft how it works is already a fair bit of work.
