No Build Limit

by Jodek · on Modrinth

Which build do you need?

This mod ships a separate file for every mod loader and every version of the game. Pick both, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game.

Mod loader

Minecraft version

⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · Data pack⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · Fabric⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · Forge⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · NeoForge⬇ Download for 1.21.8–26.2 · Quilt
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

How to install:

How to remove it safely

or fix it if your world got corrupted

If you remove it

  1. Create a backup of your corrupted world or server
  2. Recreate the world using the same seed (and terrain generation options)
  3. Remove only the No Build Limit datapack/mod from your mod list
  4. Download Amulet
  5. Follow the FAQ
    1. Make sure both world are closed in game
    2. Open the input world using the open world button
    3. Click on the convert tab on the left
    4. Click on "Select Output World" and find the output world
    5. Click convert and wait for the conversion to finish
    6. Close the world in Amulet
  6. Backup your clean Amulet world
  7. Inside the /world folder of that world, there should be folder like DIM1, DIM-1 and so on
  8. Everything in this /world folder can be copied from the corrupted world to the clean Amulet world, EXCEPT for:
    • /world/data/region
    • /world/DIM-1/region
    • /world/DIM1/region
    • /world/data/chunks.data
  9. Start the new clean world, and it should be stable
