🥐 Hoffen's Bakery is a vanilla plus datapack that introduces 27 new pastry recipes and cosmetics to the game and restores your whimsy.

Saturation and hunger points given by each pastry vary between those of golden carrots or cooked meat. Details are specified in the Baking Cookbook

Note: This datapack repurposes the ´poisonous_potato´ item for some functions, when installing this datapack previous existing items will be retextured and potato crops will no longer have a chance to drop a poisonous potato, additionaly, the item will not appear on shipwreck loot.

  • Chef hat (Hidden recipe, available only in white color, prevents from burning*)
  • Baking whisk (Brush)
  • Baking pin (Wooden sword with knockback IV)
  • Bread bag (Custom bundle)

** They prevent from burning, but you can still take fire damage

• 📔 Baking Cookbook
  • Illustrated book with recipes for all obtainable items
  • Obtain it by baking a book (Smelting a book on a furnace) 👨‍🍳

How to Install

• Head over to Versions

• Click on the Name of your preferred version

• Scroll down to see the datapack file and the resourcepack file

• Download both of them

• Install hoffens_bakery_rp on your resourcepack folder !!

• Install hoffens_bakery on your datapacks folder !!

• Start exploring the pastries by smelting a book on a furnace

FAQ

• Textures not loading / The threatening magenta cube

Make sure you installed the resource pack correctly, the .zip file should be in your resourcepacks folder and loaded (%appdata% > .minecraft > resourcepacks) The file is named hoffens_bakery_rp_[version]

• Datapack not loading / Crafting items don't give result

Make sure you loaded into the datapacks folder of your world or server (.minecraft > saves > [Your World] > datapacks ) The file is named hoffens_bakery_[version]

• Compatibility with other Mods / Datapacks

Compatibility with other projects was NOT tested, feel free to report incompatibilities via the Issue Tracker link.

If a food or item isn't doing what it says it does please report it via the Issue Tracker link.

• Balancing concerns

There are no current plans to port this to Bedrock.
