Dry Deserts

Which build do you need?

This mod ships a separate file for every mod loader and every version of the game. Pick both, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game.

I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

Dry Deserts and all my other packs will no longer get updated, but anyone is welcome to fork or continue the project!

Dry Deserts

Dry Deserts stops rivers from generating in desert and badland biomes, making them truly feel like arid biomes.

You might still see the occasional body of water in those biomes, especially near coasts and aquifers, however no river biomes should generate in deserts.

🚨 To use with Large Biomes, you must make a change in the datapack files 🚨

Compatibility

Dry deserts should be compatible with most biome mods, worldgen mods that alter how rivers generate might cause trouble however, use the Issues to report any problems or request compatibility with a specific pack or mod. You can test most datapack combinations with the Datapack Map.
