Health Indications

See Player and Mob Health!. Free Minecraft Java datapack for 1.21.5, 25w14craftmine.

Which Minecraft do you have?

Every version of the game needs its own build. Pick yours, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game. This mod is built for Data pack only.

⬇ Download for 1.21.5⬇ Download for 1.21.4⬇ Download for 1.21–1.21.3⬇ Download for 1.20–1.20.1⬇ Download for 1.19.4⬇ Download for 1.19–1.19.3⬇ Download for 1.18–1.18.2⬇ Download for 1.16–1.17.1
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

Health Bars

If the entity with a health bar has the absorption effect, the absorption hearts will show up next to the health bar. Absorption is essentially a shield on one's health so it is shown separately from their main health. Their health bar is completely yellow whenever they have absorption (without the optional Resource Pack).

Damage Indicators

Damage Indicators show up when an entity's health changes. They show up red when losing health, green when gaining health, and yellow whenever absorption hearts are added/removed. If they lose both absorption and normal hearts on one hit, two damage indicators will show- with each damage shown separately.

Optional Resource Pack

There is an optional Resource Pack that can change how the Health Bar and Damage Indicator symbols look.

Just copy the downloaded zip file into both your datapack and resourcepack folders. Make sure its enabled in game. Also enable the "Custom Texture" option in the Options Menu, or download the version that has it enabled already.

Status Effects

If you have the Resource Pack applied, you can enable Status Effects in the Options Menu. It shows current Status Effects inflicted on nearby mobs.

Left to right: Poison, Weakness, Speed, Slowness, Water Breathing
