Zombies Slow You
Java data pack listed for Minecraft 1.21. Downloads from the MC Java Mods app on Android.
Zombies slow you down when they hit you, along with preventing you from jumping, think of it like a grapple. Very Simple.
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
Hey, how come no one made this kind of datapack yet?
Or is it just that I didn't search well enough..?
Basically, once a zombie hits you, your Movement Speed attribute will be multiplied by 0.25 (equivalent to Slowness V) and
- for versions 1.21 and above: Multiplies your Jump Strength attribute by 0.
- for versions below 1.21: Jump Boost 128.
for 1.5 seconds
If you don't like these values, you can configure it by going to
- 1.21+: zombies_slow/data/zombies_slow/function/zombie_hit.mcfunction
- Below 1.21: zombies_slow/data/zombies_slow/functions/zombie_hit.mcfunction
