Barter Inflation

This datapack introduces an event-driven economy system to piglin bartering in the Nether. Every successful barter transaction logged in the world increases a global inflation counter. As inflation rises, piglins become pickier, they occasionally reject gold ingots entirely, snorting dismissively and keeping the gold without giving anything back.

Economy Reset

When a full moon rises in the Overworld, the economy resets and inflation drops to zero, and piglins become generous traders again. A subtle particle effect appears around piglins during high inflation periods to warn players.

Technical Details

The pack tracks all statistics using scoreboards and runs checks only when barter events occur, keeping performance impact minimal. No commands are required for players -- everything operates automatically through entity detection and game event triggers.

Server operators can check current inflation levels with:

/scoreboard players get #inflation barter.economy
