Datapack on Titan

Welcome! This project is one that aims at seamlessly implementing concepts from the Attack on Titan series into Minecraft. Install both the datapack (or fabric mod) and the resource pack (if applicable), and type /reload to get started.

The necessary resource pack (THE RESOURCE PACK IS NOT NEEDED IF USING THE FABRIC DOWNLOAD) can be found both here and under the datapack download:

The following is a written summary of what can be found in the showcase video:

Titan Shifters:

To become a titan shifter, you must hunt down the Titan Serum, an elusive item which only spawns in the basement of igloos. After obtaining, you will have to administer it with a new item: the copper syringe. Put both items in the opposite hand to combine them, and hold right click to inject yourself.

• As a titan shifter, you will have constant, low-level regeneration, which will be put on cooldown whenever taking damage.
• To transform, hold sneak and look for an indicator above the item you are holding. If it is an eligible item for harming, you can use it to transform; while sneaking, hold right click to enter your titan form! To detransform, tap sneak while looking down.
• As a titan, your punches now do AOE damage, and punching the ground will mine a large group of blocks.
• As a titan, you can pickup enemies (only if they're low on health) by pressing the offhand button while looking at them. You can drop them by pressing offhand again, but you can also throw them by holding right click.

NOTES:

• Since you can't access your items as a titan, your inventory will be stored in the titan's nape after detransforming.
• Transforming necessitates at least two or three vertebrae in your titan energy bar (this depends on what you're using to transform, since some items require more energy).

Equipment:

Equipment included in the pack is an adaptation of the ODM gear: the Omni-Directional Aerial gear and the breezebottle.

• ODA gear must be paired with a breezebottle (which needs to be filled with wind charges as fuel, similarly by putting them in opposite hands).
• Tap sneak with the ODA gear in your hand to separate it and the breezebottle.
• Six seconds of unassisted gliding takes one charge, while one aerial manuever consumes an entire charge instantly.
• To perform an aerial manuever, tap a movement key while gliding to be blasted in that direction.
• The amount of charges you have can be observed above the hunger bar.

HORDES AND LORDSHIP UPDATE CONTENT:

Pure titans:

Pure titans spawning are disabled by default, but can be enabled with '/function titan-cheats/enable_titanspawning'. They vary in size, power, and nighttime energy levels.

• Pure titans can be artificially created by a titan shifter; to do so, they must inject their spinal fluid (obtained by holding right click with a copper syringe as a shifter) into a villager or player on low health to create a feral pure titan.

Royal blood:

This update adds the possibility of possessing royal blood; this is determined when joining the world, and facilitates bonus abilities as a titan shifter.

• With royal blood, you can time when an injected target transforms into a titan:
• ○ Holding sneak while injecting will cause an instant transformation.
• ○ Not holding sneak while injecting means that the target will only transform once you roar while in titan form.
• ◦ Roaring is performed while in titan form by holding sneak and looking up; this has a sixty second cooldown.
• Pure titans created by a royal shifter will be friendly towards them, and will even fight for them.
• ○ To select a target for nearby friendly pure titans to attack, you can either:
• ○ In human form, while sneaking in your last slot with an empty hand, hold right click while looking at your target.
• ◦ In titan form, do the same as a human but without sneaking.

HARDENED VANGUARD UPDATE CONTENT:

Titan Appearance:

You can use '/trigger Change.Titan_Sex' to alternate between a masculine or feminine titan form.

Hardening:

Hardening is the ability to harden parts of your titan form; this is naturally unlocked after being in your titan form for a long amount of time.

• To activate hardening, go to your first slot and look up while holding right click; do the same to disable it.
• Having hardening active means that your attacks do more damage, and that you receive a small armor buff.
• The only downside to having hardening active is that your titan energy drains faster.
• Leaving titan form while holding your first hotbar slot with hardening active will cause your titan body to completely harden and stay behind, made from a tough, unknown material.

Equipment:

Another piece of equipment included in the pack is an adaptation of the thunderspear: the Rumblerod.

• Hold right click to launch.
• Only detonates once its attached cord is yanked on or snapped; to yank on the cord, look down. For it to snap, wait for it to leave your range.
• With perfect timing and aim, it can instantly kill a titan by blowing up its nape.
