SandWitches 0.6

This datapack/mod currently adds The Broom, 8 Witch Hats, 4 Magical Staffs, 2 Sandwiches, 9 Advancements, 2 Witchcraft Books and 12 Spell Books.

Broom

The Broom allows you to fly but also doubles as a sword and a shovel (you can't enchant it with shovel enchants).

To start flying on a Broom just put it in your offhand.

Controls:

Use WASD to control the broom.

Use Space and Shift to go up and down.

Hold down CTRL to stop moving.

Changing modes:

• Right click while not holding CTRL when on a broom to change your horizontal flying speed:
  • 25%
  • 50%
  • 100%
  • 200%*
  • Dynamic Horizontal Flying Speed**
• Right click while holding CTRL when on a broom to change your vertical flying speed:
  • 25%
  • 50%
  • 100%
  • 200%*
  • Dynamic Vertical Flying Speed (matches your horizontal flying speed)
• Right click while holding the broom in your mainhand to change your gravity settings:
  • GRAVITY ON
  • GRAVITY OFF

Dynamic Horizontal Flying Speed** - 200% Horizontal Flying Speed, but when you are trying to move while holding ctrl you will gain speed (up to 600%) that will go down unless you're moving. It takes 10s to gain maximum speed. You need to wear a Witch hat in order to activate this mode.

200%* - You need to wear a Witch hat in order to activate this mode.

Witch Hats

The Witch hat works like a netherite helmet, but it will also clear many bad effects and allow you to access other items in this datapack. It also looks cool.

• Witch Hat Of The Ocean - Gives you Infinite Water Breathing and Infinite Dolphin's Grace. Makes projectiles from the Staff Of The Ocean pierce through mobs.

• Witch Hat Of The Nether - Gives you Infinite Fire Resistance and halves your gravity. Boosts damage of the Staff Of The Nether (5 hearts -> 7,5 hearts).

• Witch Hat Of The Forest - Triples your jump strength and Gives you +1 reach (both entity interaction range and block interaction range). Boosts entanglement damage when using the Staff Of The Forest (0,5 hearts -> 1 heart).

• Witch Hat Of The Desert - Makes you go faster and gives you +1 step height. Boosts effects from the Staff Of The Desert.

Item access & buffs

• 200% Horizontal Flying speed on the Broom.
• 200% Vertical Flying speed on the Broom.
• Dynamic Horizontal Flying Speed on the Broom.
• 6s of entanglement when using the Staff Of The Forest (rather than the standard 4s).
• Gives you strength 1 for 30s when using Staff Of The Desert.

Magicals Staffs

• Staff Of The Ocean - Shoots a bubble projectile that deals 2,5 hearts of damage to mobs. Casting time: 0.6s. Cooldown: 0.25s. This projectile breaks when it hits a block or a mob. It won't break and instead pierce through mobs when wearing the Witch Hat Of The Ocean. Works underwater.

• Staff Of The Nether - Creates an explosion at the block you were looking at when casted. Casting time: 1s. Cooldown: 4s. This explosion doesn't break blocks and deals 5 hearts of damage to mobs (7.5 hearts of damage when wearing the Witch Hat Of The Nether). Doesn't work underwater.

• Staff Of The Forest - Entangles mobs within 3 blocks of the block you were looking at when casted. Casting time: 1s. Cooldown: 8s. Entangled mobs have no AI, don't move and get damaged (0.5 hearts (1 heart when wearing the Witch Hat Of The Forest)) every half a second they are entangled. Entangled mobs stay entangled for 4s (6s when wearing the Witch Hat). Doesn't work underwater.

• Staff Of The Desert - Buffs you with effects when used. Casting time: 1s. Cooldown: 40s.

Sandwiches

• Sandwich - 6 nutrition and 6 saturation when eaten. Can be eaten 4 times before getting consumed. 1s eating time. Can always be eaten.

• Sandwitch - 5 nutrition and 5 saturation when eaten. Can be eaten 8 times before getting consumed. 0.8s eating time. Can always be eaten. Will give you poison 2 for 10s.

Witchcraft Books

• The Book Of Witchcraft - it's the primary source of obtaining Spell Books. The Spell Books you get from it are random. This book can also be obtained from using the Spell Book Latest Gossip I. Max stack size 16.

• The Discoverie Of Witchcraft - Works just like The Book Of Witchcraft, but only gives you the highest levels of Spell Books (But it can't give you the Spell Book Latest Gossip II). Can only be obtained by using the Spell Book Latest Gossip II. Max stack size 16.

Spell Books

Spell Books are one-time use (there's one exception) unstackable items, that you get by reading either The Book Of Witchcraft, or The Discoverie Of Witchcraft (Witchcraft Books).

There are 5 types of Spell Books, each with 2-3 levels/tomes. The higher the level/tome number, the better the effect of the book.

The End Is Nigh!

• The End Is Nigh! I - Spawns a primed tnt that will explode in 1,5s and gives you resistance 3 for 2 seconds. This Spell Book has 3 uses.

• The End Is Nigh! II - Gives you strength 4 and speed 4 for 5s each.

• The End Is Nigh! III - Starts spawning lightning bolts around you that deal 15 damage (7,5 hearts). This effect lasts for 4s and every time you use another The End Is Nigh! III it gets extended by 4s. The lightning bolts will strike mobs in a radius of 11 blocks around you, or if there aren't any, they will randomly strike the ground 5 blocks away from you. The lightning bolts are summoned 10 blocks under the place they are hitting, this allows for them to not create fire and to not damage you when they strike an enemy that is nearby.

How To Treat Wounds

• How To Treat Wounds I - Heals 8hp (4 hearts) and gives you regeneration 2 for 10s.

• How To Treat Wounds II - Works exactly like a totem of undying, but when activated, it gets rid of all negative effects you have (even the ones from Lessons From The Turtle Master II), heals you to full hp and gives you full saturation. It also can be activated prematurely by using it like any other Spell Book.

• The Everything Encyclopedia I - Gives you a random item out of a weak item pool.

• Lessons From The Turtle Master I - Gives you resistance 4 and slowness 6 for 20s each.

• Lessons From The Turtle Master II - Gives you resistance 6 and stops you from moving or jumping for 20s each (The bad effects of this Spell Book can be nullified by using the Spell Book How To Treat Wounds II).

Latest Gossip

• Latest Gossip I - Gives you 2 Witchcraft Books "The Book Of Witchcraft".

• Latest Gossip II - Gives you 2 Witchcraft Books "The Discoverie Of Witchcraft".

To install this as a datapack add a selected version to your world's datapack folder and also download the required resource pack and turn it on in game.

To uninstall this datapack type "/function sandwitches:z_uninstall" in the chat and remove the datapack from the datapack folder.
