If a sound produced by a player is sensed by a sculk sensor, it activates a nearby sculk shrieker, which might trigger a warden spawn. However, this does not apply to sounds that are not produced by the player. Shriekier Shriekers Mod is here to change that. With this mod installed, any sound detected by a sculk sensor can trigger a shrieker.
