Have you ever played Cobblemon and thought...?: "Wow, how incredible would it be to capture a Creeper and use it in a battle against another Pokémon?".

With MobMons, you can do exactly that!

If you want to install the data pack version you must put the file in both your resource pack folder and datapack folder located on your save (If you don't have a world created, you must create one first and then put this data pack on that folder).

What is MobMons?

MobMons is a recreation of the original Minecraft mobs within the Cobblemon format. You are not actually capturing the mobs that spawn naturally; instead, you are capturing a "fakemon" version of each Minecraft mob.

I highly recommend playing this mod alongside the Cobbleverse modpack for the best possible experience; however, it can be fully enjoyed on its own as well :)

MobMons Features

Each of the created MobMons features its own types, stats, moves, abilities, shinies, characteristics and custom animations, all tailored to match the appearance and mechanics of each mob within the original game. You will be able to capture Creepers, Allays, Skeletons, and even Wardens with your Poké Ball and use them in battle, as mounts, or as companions throughout your adventure!

Future Ideas

This initial version includes 15 unique mobs, though I plan to add every existing mob within Minecraft version 1.21.1.

Spawn:

• Rarely found in all biomes while thundering except for the Mushroom Fields.

In the future, I will include other mobs from versions beyond 1.21.1 (such as the Creaking), unused mobs (such as the Giant or Illusioner), and other secret mobs.
