Useful Allays
Enhances Allays by allowing them to provide beneficial effects to nearby players based on the items they are holding. It's like a level 1 beacon with wings!
Features
When an Allay holds one of the following items, it will grant the corresponding effect to all players within a 14-block radius:
- Sugar: Speed
- Rabbit Foot: Jump Boost
- Ghast Tears: Regeneration
- Phantom Membrane: Slow Falling
- Golden Carrot: Night Vision
- Pufferfish: Water Breathing
- Blaze Powder: Strength
- Magma Cream: Fire Resistance
- Quartz: Haste
- Glowstone: Glowing
- Shulker Shell: Levitation
- Turtule Helmet: Resistance 3 and Slowness 2
The datapack checks every 3 seconds for Allays holding these items and applies the effects accordingly.
Usage
- Spawn or find an Allay in your world.
- Give the Allay one of the special items.
- Stand within 14 blocks of the Allay to receive the effect.
- The effect refreshes every 3 seconds as long as the Allay holds the item.
