Chess Pieces
I don't know my version or loader
Adds large chess and checkers pieces that can be crafted and placed like blocks. The pack is completely survival and multiplayer friendly!
Crafting
To craft a chess or checkers piece, place a stripped wood block (not log) in a stonecutter and select the piece you would like to craft. All wood types are supported, which allows a variety of different colored pieces.
Mechanics
The chess and checkers pieces have a few mechanics:
- Right click to place the piece on the ground
- Right click the placed piece with an empty hand to pick it up
- Left click the placed piece to break it and drop its item
- While crouching, right click a checkers piece to flip it (toggle between regular and king piece)
- While crouching, right click a chess piece to rotate it 90 degrees
Note
The datapack provides the pieces, the actual game is managed by the players. This keeps the pack simple, survival friendly, and multiplayer friendly. It also allows for the players to play with unique chess variants.
