Remove Nether Portal Animation
Players in survival/ adventure mode could be instantly teleport through the nether portal, just like in creative mode.
⬇ Download on ModrinthThis data pack was called ''(QPTP) Quick Portal Teleportation" and published on Planet Minecraft (of course also by me). I renamed it along with some additions
This data pack only does one simple job: making players in survival/ adventure mode instantly go through a nether portal, just like in creative mode. There are 2 working modes: automatic and manual. Players can switch modes on the main menu.
Automatic mode: Automatic is the default mode, which removes animation for players that are NOT sprinting, sneaking, falling, gliding, or riding anything. For instance, when a player enters a nether portal, as long as the player is not sprinting, sneaking (crouching), falling, gliding, or riding anything, the animation will be removed and the player will be teleported to the nether immediately.
Manual mode: In Manual mode, animation will only be removed if the player is sneaking (crouching, while not falling). For instance, when a player enters a nether portal, the animation will run normally. Once the player sneaks, the animation will be removed and the player will be teleported to the nether immediately.
This data pack is for: Rush players that don't like to spend time waiting for the nether portal animation.
This data pack is NOT for: Players that think nether portal animation is a good feature (which I agree with when I didn't die in the nether) and actually enjoy it.
Limitations: The magic behind this is actually turning the player into creative mode very briefly. For this reason, there are a few things to note:
-If you spam left click when you are going through a portal, you might break the portal (it is way more likely under immense lag). Therefore DO NOT do it (why would you do it?).
-Although never happened before, there is still a potential threat that a player may stay in creative mode by error. So it is NOT recommended to use in a public server, where players would abuse everything if they have any chance.
