Beacontown and Outskirts Map for Minecraft

Beacontown & Outskirts is a small recreation of Hero in Residence, the first episode of Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two.

Overview

This map serves as a sequel project to EnderCon & Outskirts. It is centered around the Order of the Stone plains area, which features the Beacontown, Champion City, Heckmouth, and Temple of the Order of the Stone locations, plus Lukas' Cottage. The Admin's Sea Temple and Doom Sea do not form part of the world, and most buildings in both towns do not have decorated interiors.

The purpose of this map is primarily showcase, while including some quirky mechanics/content that make it worth exploring. This project is planned to be expanded upon in a Complete Adventure recreation of the Minecraft: Story Mode series, built in a linear sense.

Map Information

• The Order Hall acts as a small starter hub for this map. From here you can find teleporters and a wall where you can change a few gamerule settings.
• The map is automatically locked to a sunset setting; this can be changed through the "Wall of Gamerules".
• The Texture Pack for this map is optional and can be disabled; appropriate materials are used for some of Story Mode's blocks.
• This project is officially available on Planet Minecraft and ModBay; other pages are not official.
• Known Issue: The gates of Beacontown may sometimes not open; this can usually be fixed by activating the gate mechanism a few times.
