True Combat
A 1.21.3 Souls-like Minecraft datapack
- This datapack adds mechanics and elements from souls-like series like Dark Souls, Sekiro, Bloodborne, etc.
- This adds a few customizable elements like Stats leveling, Passives, and Active Skills.
- This enhances the combat by adding mechanics like Blocking, Stamina System, Parry-and-Riposte, Dashing, Backstab, and Poise break(Reaching 0 stamina). Getting damaged, Attacking, Dashing, and using Active Skills depletes stamina.
- Most Hostile and Neutral mobs have Stamina, and Armed Humanoid Mobs(Armed means holding a Sword or an Axe) can Block and perform Parry-and-Riposte. For mobs with stamina, damaging them depletes their stamina.
- This datapack adds more weaponry: Katana, Knife, Rapier, Longsword, Spear, Anchor, Greatsword, Battleaxe, and Scythe.
- Forging these weapons requires a few new items and steps which the game gives a book for instructions and tips, and a YT video for a guide.
- This datapack also adds a few extra weapons like the Throwable Knife, Bolas, Smoke Bomb, Bomb, and Blunderbuss. The game also provides a guide book for the crafting recipes of these items.
