The Eerie Fog

This datapack changes the way you play survival, making it closer to alpha or beta, where you cannot just sprint through night and mobs being a threat. And that thick fog, watching you, always, giving you that feeling, of not being alone...

Description

Overhauls the survival, to be more difficult, and slower that it is today. Reducing number of structures, removing certain drops from mobs, removing sprint mechanic and hunger - making it more like in pre-Beta 1.8 but making it more balanced.

These things above? These are just an introduction to a creepy, and lonely atmosphere. Completly alone, with no npcs, and just animals and monsters. Check out changelogs for more informations!

Additional information

• This datapack goes best with Optifine mod, as it changes the lightmap and gives light source dynamic option.

• Take your time playing this game; it takes days for the events to finally unfold, enabling you to fully immerse yourself in that world.

• Multiplayer is available, but can cause some bugs, as it's not 100% tested.

How to setup

1. Install Resource pack (The Eerie Fog Resource pack), that is located with the Datapack.
2. Create new world (This Datapack works best with a brand new world) -> More -> Datapacks -> Open Datapack Folder -> Paste The Eerie Fog Datapack
3. PLAY!
