Custom Stats System

by EclipseStudios · on Modrinth

This datapack is for all of the datapack developers who need a custom stats system but doesn't know how to do it.

Which Minecraft do you have?

Every version of the game needs its own build. Pick yours, then download — the wrong build installs fine and then does nothing in the game. This mod is built for Data pack only.

⬇ Download for 1.20–1.20.1⬇ Download for 1.19.4
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.

Features

Credits

This datapack uses a datapack from Cloud Wolf that basicly allows us to detect who the attacker is and who is the victim, I know that we have /execute on attacker but this datapack was developed before that command was introduced, nonetheless it still works and its very powerfull. You can check out his datapack here.

How to use

I made a video in my youtube channel explaining how it works and how to add custom weapons, armor and mobs with custom stats.

FAQ

Q: Does this datapack work on older versions?

A: Maybe, personally I haven't tested in older versions than 1.19 but I think it should work all the way down to 1.13. Just download the 1.19 version with the resourcepack and I think it should work, just change inside the pack.mcmeta of both the datapack and resourcepack the "pack_format" value to the desired one (take in mind that it may not work).

Q: Does it have multiplayer compatibility?

A: Yes it does (in theory, I didn't tested it but it should).

Q: Can I modify the datapack and redistribute it?

A: Yes you can, but only say who the original creator is (me) and if you link the original Modrinth page somewhere noticeable in the project.

Q: Are you going to make more datapacks?

A: Yes, I think I already know what my next project will be but only time will say.

Known bugs

It is not an actual bug but its important that I say it: Don't do /reload when wearing a custom armor, this is due to the fact that in load.mcfunction we reset the stats of the player, just remove that and put it in a separate function.
