BAA has reached EOL
I have lost the motivation that I used to have for working on BAA, and I would like to work on more original projects that I have more motivation to work on. This does not mean I will be leaving the SNC community, and maybe things will change in the future and I will return to BAA, but for the foreseeable future BAA will not be receiving any new updates.
What is BAA?
Bomb's AOT Additions, or BAA, is an addon to Fanfo's Shingeki no Craft Datapack, which adds many new features.
Getting Started
The first thing you will notice when playing is that you can't craft any of the items added in SNC. Instead, you must craft a Heavy Workbench and Research Table to begin. After researching a blueprint, you must put it into a nearby chiseled bookshelf for it to take effect.

Once you have researched Ultrahard Steel and want to make some blades, you must first smelt Iron Ingots inside a Blast Furnace to obtain Ultrahard Steel Ingots. This can then be used to craft Ultrahard Steel Blades.

Other Features
Some other miscellaneous features include not dropping your items on the floor when unshifting, a horse mutation system to try and breed the best horse, some cosmetics you can get from killing titans, and being able to disable the end/nether on world creation.
Installation
When installing this datapack, the load order is very important. To make sure everything works properly, make sure that you set the load order as:
- Edition: Minecraft Java
- File type: .jar
- Minecraft version listed: 1.20.2
- How to install: Install the matching mod loader (Forge, Fabric or NeoForge) for your Minecraft version. → Download the .jar. → Put it in the .minecraft/mods folder and launch that loader profile.
- Where to get it: Opens on Modrinth — not every file is mirrored on our own servers.
Install steps are the general flow for this file type — see the MC Java Mods guides for the full walkthrough.
- Downloads as baa-v2.0.1-dp.zip
- Download size: 164 KB
- Download link checked 6 Sept 2026 — working
These come from our own check of the pack file, not from the source page.
