Sanity Awareness is a datapack that creates a sanity system for players to manage, good for those who wants an extra challenge. Sleeping will improve one's sanity by a huge margin. The rest of activities will be listed below that are impacted by the difficulty of the datapack.
Sanity Difficulty
Normal
All players will have to keep track of their sanity by checking the player list (if it has not been overridden). Every 10 seconds, the system will determine whenever you are near a visible mob/player and if you are in a dark area. Passive mobs and players yield the most sanity while hostile mobs yield less.
Insanity
Only activated by running this command /scoreboard players set #InsanityMode SA-Sanity 1, a lot of things will change. For starters, the Y-Level is now part of the variables that will be checked every 5 seconds instead of 10 seconds so don't go too high or low! The more you stay awake, you will become tired where that will decrease the amount of sanity you get from mobs/players. Being damaged by a mob will also drain your sanity! However to combat all of this, certain tasks will provide sanity such as trading, enchanting, taming, and eating.
To disable the Insanity difficulty, run the same command as you activated it but change the 1 to a 0.
