Chek's Mint Structures

Chek's Mint Structures is a vanilla-friendly datapack that redesigns Minecraft's classic structures while preserving their original purpose, scale, and identity.

Instead of replacing villages with large custom builds, this datapack reimagines existing structures as if they were updated by Mojang today. Every structure remains recognizable and functional while receiving improved architecture, detailing, and environmental integration.

Design Goals

Chek's Mint Structures follows three core principles:

Vanilla-Friendly

Structures are designed to match Minecraft's visual style and avoid overly detailed or unrealistic building techniques.

Familiar

Villages remain instantly recognizable. Existing structure layouts, roles, and gameplay functions are preserved.

Enhanced

Buildings receive improved block palettes, architectural details, and environmental decoration while maintaining the feel of vanilla Minecraft.

Development Status

This project is currently in beta.

The current release focuses on Plains Villages, with additional village variants, structure overhauls, generation improvements, and further polishing planned for future updates.
