Nether Fungus Drops

What Does This Do?

This datapack changes the drops of Nether Wart Blocks and Warped Wart Blocks. Instead of dropping itself as an item, the blocks have a chance to drop their respective Fungus when broken without a Silk Touch-enchanted tool. This is the same system that Red and Brown Mushroom Blocks use.

How Does It Work?

This datapack changes the loot table files of both Wart Block types to use the same calculations the Red Mushroom Block uses.

But Why?

This datapack makes it easier to farm Crimson and Warped Stems by returning their sapling equivalents the same way trees do, eliminating the need to transport and/or bonemeal Hyphae blocks in order to obtain more fungi.
