It is specifically designed to bridge the gap between iron and diamond armor, while offering unique utility buffs that keep it relevant even into the endgame.

⚒️ How it Works

• The Ingot: To get started, combine copper and gold to forge the Rose-Gold Ingot. The recipe is intuitive and will automatically appear in your vanilla crafting table.

  

• The Equipment: Crafting follows standard vanilla patterns. For example, replacing iron ingots with rose-gold ingots yields the Rose-Gold Chestplate.

  

• Advancements: Track your blacksmithing achievements with a custom set of in-game advancements.

Rose-Gold Armor Stats

• Unique Set Bonus: Each armor piece increases your Block Break Speed (+0.5 per piece). Equipping the full set lets you mine and clear areas significantly faster – making it highly useful for large-scale building projects, even if you already own Netherite.

• Rose-Gold Helmet: 2.5 Armor / 1.5 Armor Toughness / +0.5 Block Break Speed

• Rose-Gold Chestplate: 7.5 Armor / 1.5 Armor Toughness / +0.5 Block Break Speed

• Rose-Gold Leggings: 5.5 Armor / 1.5 Armor Toughness / +0.5 Block Break Speed

• Rose-Gold Boots: 2.5 Armor / 1.5 Armor Toughness / +0.5 Block Break Speed

The Rose-Golden Apple

A luxurious alternative to the classic golden apple, granting a potent defensive utility buff:

⚠️ IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

This datapack requires its corresponding Resource Pack to display textures correctly. Without it, items will appear as default vanilla objects or broken textures.

• 💡 Note on Recipe Previews: Due to technical limitations, checking a recipe in the crafting book without having the required rose-gold ingots in your actual inventory will temporarily display the underlying vanilla base item instead of the custom rose-gold texture.

🛠️ Installation

1. Datapack: Place the .zip file into your world/datapacks folder.
2. Resource Pack: Place the .zip file into your resourcepacks folder and enable it in your in-game settings.

• 🚨 CRITICAL SECURITY NOTE FOR ADMINS: The Rose-Gold Ingot uses the vanilla Command Block item combined with a custom item_model.

  

  While the item cannot be placed down in Survival Mode, please exercise extra caution with Creative Mode permissions or custom plugins/mods that interact with block placements to prevent potential player exploits.

📝 Behind the Scenes

• This project is a modernized, standalone version of a feature originally developed for a private Minecraft server between late 2024 and 2025 (for versions 1.21.3–1.21.4). It has now been completely overhauled for newer Minecraft versions.
• It was originally slated to debut as part of the Armor & Tools Expansion Part 2, but has been decoupled to give vanilla-loving players a dedicated choice.
