I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
BetterChatting Data Pack
Enhance your Minecraft chat experience with the BetterChatting data pack! This pack adds interactive and visually appealing chat messages with hover effects, clickable actions, and custom formatting for various chat types.

Installation
- Download the latest version of the data pack from the releases section.
- Place the downloaded file into your Minecraft world's
datapacksfolder:<world_folder>/datapacks/ - Reload the world or run the following command in-game:
/reload

Requirements
- Minecraft Version: Java Edition 1.20 or later.
- Pack Format: Compatible with pack formats 15–94.
- World Permissions: Must have operator permissions to install and reload datapacks.
Configuration
To customize the behavior of the chat messages:
- Edit the JSON files in the
data/minecraft/chat_type/directory. - Modify the
translation_key,style, orclick_eventfields as needed. - Run
/reloadto apply changes.
